I was once the phone voice of Butler University. I voiced the promos for local public television (I can tell you anything you want to know about Mr. Bean without ever having watched it.)
My voice appeared on the Indianapolis Star InfoLine (mostly medical and surgical information).
I have voiced promos for the United Way of Bartholomew County, The Indiana Association of Cities and Towns, corporate videos for Wood-Mizer Products, and worked as a DJ on 107.1 FM back when it was a classical station (I can do the pregnant pause required of classical radio and pronounce any difficult name).
I have a Telecommunication Arts Degree and a French degree. I studied classical voice and can sing in Italian, German, and French. My TCOMM studies at Butler University included voice training with Mr. Allen Deck, a really gifted voiceover artist. He is the one who clued me in that my voice could make me some money. Mr. Wayne Hepler also coached me on announcing.
I have a Pro-Series M-Powered Microphone and software and I also used Linux-based Austere for recording tracks. My preferred delivery method is Mp3 but I am happy to travel to studios.
I am a published author. It's a narrative nonfiction piece and I could hear a voice reading it as I wrote it. Narration is a natural gift.
