My voice career began over 10 years ago, while working at a Classic Rock station (Z93) in Atlanta. I voiced and wrote all local advertisers commercials, from strip joints to car dealers.
A year later (1998) I was hired as the Production Manager for Atlanta's sports talk station, Sports Radio 790 The Zone, producing all station Imaging and commercials. I continued for 3 years there, before branching out on my own and investing in a home studio. Ironically, 5 years after leaving the station and becoming a business owner in my own right 790 The Zone took me on as "female voice of the station".
Since then I have been taken on by more radio stations as their "voice", including WFTL Fort Lauderdale-Fla. I've done radio commercials for Popeye's Chicken, Range Rover, Metro Brokers GMAC Real Estate and countless TV spots including SouthCrest Bank, and the Greater Baltimore Committee. Other clients include: The Money Store, VA Tech, KCSG-TV, Epic News Group, and Electric Sheep Company (CSI-NY on Second Life).
My entire career follows the path of my college degree - Communication Arts, B.F.A. I was very fortunate to be surrounded by true voice over professionals early in my career who served as gracious mentors. Working in radio production of course furthered my knowledge of the process. Recently, I finished a course in Acting for TV.
