I have been 'voiceovering' since 1976 when I began my first radio job - back when a shift included a stack of live scripts an inch high. Since then, while my work has moved to other radio stations within S.E.Queensland, Australia and included hosting 2 television programs, along with acting work on series and films, I have continued my voiceover work and expanded my capabilities.
My voice is suited to just about everything from friendly, soft sell commercials or corporate reads, to hard sell ads, 'station IDs' for cap city and regional radio stations, 'live show intros' such as last years 'Australian Commercial Radio Industry Awards', and narration, recently including 'Dance of Desire', an Irish dance show spectacular currently playing at Gold Coast's Jupiters Casino.
Following my high school graduation from Brisbane's Cavendish Road High, my industry training was from the Australian Institute of Radio & Television Production, graduating from there in 1976.
Since then my radio & television experience has been 'on the job'. This included news gathering and presenting.
My acting training has been through multiple courses over many years including Australia's famed NIDA in Sydney.
I use a Rode NT1-A microphone, Behringer Ultragain Pro Mic2200 preamp into a Behringer UCA202 interface.
My software includes Cooledit Pro and SoundForge.
Acting / Radio Announcing / News Reading / Voiceovers - That's what I've done and do.
