Lots of experience in industrial voice overs:
Amgen - Employee orientation and training videos; I edited the translated scripts and then recorded them. 2006-2007
Association of Wall and Ceiling Industry (VA) - I recorded the Spanish certification test for their EIFS Mechanic Certification Program; this way people can have the questions read to them. 2007
Microsoft Vista sales training videos - I edited the translated scripts and then recorded them. These were the training videos sent to the various retailers around the country so that sales personnel would know how to sell the new Microsoft Vista operating system products. 2007
Sickle-cell anemia video - Voice over; I did 7 different female voices. Baltimore area, 1999
University of Puerto Rico, Chemistry major/Theater minor
My voice over skills are enhanced by the theater experience while in college and in the local communities I have lived in. I also sang in choir from 1987 through 2004, alto voice. Currently not a choir member due to work schedule.
I do not have my own equipment yet but work with a local studio in the Philadelphia area.
Professional Spanish interpreter and translator with 15+ years of experience; member of the American Translators Association and currently serving as the Administrator of its Spanish Language Division.
I have been involved in many other voice projects where I was not the voice talent but participated in the translation and edit of the ad copy in Spanish and later served as production assistant during the recording. My job was to watch for pronunciation and enunciation issues and also to make any changes to the script that could be necessary to improve diction or because of timing issues (specially in the case of a voice over). Also served as the voice coach if needed.
