From reading the news and weather at my college radio station to providing comedic voice over work in my Conservatory troupe at Second City I have been at this for more than 10 years.
Professionally I have provided voice over work for M&M Mars (Safety and training videos) and I am currently the voice of USG Training.
Studios and sound technicians like to work with me because I am very fast. It is rare for me to take much longer than the reading itself, and as a seasoned actress and improviser I take direction and edits very well.
Graduated with a degree in Media Studies (Journalism concentration) from UNC Greensboro 1997.
Graduated from Second City Beginning, Writing and Conservatory Programs. (Chicago).
Have received other acting training at Victory Gardens and Improv Olympic.
I currently perform with an improv troupe in Chicago where I further hone my character voices and dialects.
No studio equipment, but I do have a car and easy access to public transportation.
I am a professional trainer, actress, and writer. These three things allow me to get voice over work done quickly, and at times assist with the copy details too.
I can edit on the fly (because I read like a news caster, lines at a time) and I can adjust styles very easily.
