I can perform different accents such as Spanish and French, Carribbean, and various American accents.... I can sound highly educated like our current First Lady.... or I can sound extremely uneducated....like a prison inmate from the ghetto; I can sound sophisticated like a news reporter or I can sound back woods and country like a one of the characters from "Cole Miners Daughter".

I have done narrations for plays. I have also done story reading for children. One of the requirements for reading was to animate the characters through my voice and to make them come alive. I was highly recommended for my talent. I took communications (speech) classes in college. I have done many phone sales which required the use of proper English and inunciating all consonants and vowells of the words which I spoke. I sing in the choir at my church. I sing in an alto voice. I sing in a Black Gospel choir so we sing from our diaphram. However, I can sing in a falsetta voice as well. I grew up on the West Coast but I also lived in the South as a child. Therefore, I learned to speak with a straight American accent (using proper English) and I also learned to speak with a southern accent (more slang). I was an Elementary School Teacher and taught children how to read aloud and include tonations to indicate the meaning of the words they read as opposed to reading monotone and not conveying any meaning at all.
