I probably haven't stopped making some sort of sound since the doctor first slapped my behind at birth!
My parents have told me stories of things I did as a child in which I would write and perform my own skits (even with a ventriloquist doll) and also "read" the Sunday comics to my little sister.
I actually could not read the comics so I made up my own stories and used my own voices to make it fun and interesting for her.
I have been involved in public speaking since I was around sixteen years old and have been involved in full-time public speaking for about the past thirty years.
In March of 2009 I began a daily podcast that was motivational in nature which received some very good reviews from my listeners. Many would say that I had a very "down home" voice that put them at ease and caused them to feel that they could trust what I shared with them.
I also have done a childrens recording of five different stories - motivational in nature - in which I did a few different voices as well as a few different cartoon animal voices. This has not been published as of yet but I do have the recordings available.
I have a VIVID imagination and ENJOY using my voice combined with that imagination to create an enjoyable and useful experience for the targeted audience.
I received a BA in Elementary Education from Harding University in Searcy, AR. in 1982.
Though this did not involve any voice over work I did have to use my voice in order to get and maintain the attention of those students in the classes with which I worked.
I never became a teacher but went into ministry instead, working with young people which, again, required the use of my voice to keep their attention.
I have spoken to audiences of all sizes as well as a wide variety of ages and have always received good feedback on my ability to communicate with the audience.
I currently record all of my material on my computer using the Audacity program as well as my "plug-in" microphone.
My voice is my main tool for expressing the thoughts and ideas that I develop in my mind.
Communication is a VITAL part of ANY thought to be shared. Regardless of how vital, important or informative the information is, if it is not communicated in an effective manner then it is usually ignored.
No one wants their information ignored!
Simply put, you can count on me to do my very best to meet your desires concerning your project.
Thank you for your consideration.
