In 2008, a producer friend of mine asked me to fill in for his professional narration guy on an instructional video for Applied Materials. The company liked my voice so much that they asked me to do the whole series.
I had a blast in the process, so I made a professional demo here in Boston. Since then I've created my own small studio.
I have a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
I have no formal training regarding voice-overs.
Shure large diaphragm condenser mic.
Mac computer.
I'm well versed in business, science, and industry since I've studied those spaces throughout my career. I'm also big on proper grammar and well-written, attractive scripts.
Clients' goals are to capture their target audiences' attention, so I offer a thorough script editing service to ensure attractive and succinct language. If you don't like the results, I don't charge you a cent.
Applied Materials, Pioneer, and others took me up on that offer, loved the results, and ended up using over 80% of my suggestions, on average.
