Michael has been acting professionally for over 30 years. He has appeared on television countless times from "Chicago P.D." to "King of Queens" to "The Shield." Michael has over 25 guest starring and co-starring prime time television credits. Commercially, Michael has appeared in hundreds of national, regional and local commercials.
Before settling in St. Louis, Michael's career started in London, went to New York and then Los Angeles. With credits on Broadway, off Broadway and the nation's top regional theatres, along with the Royal Shakespeare Company in London, Michael has deep theatrical roots and experience.
As a VO talent, Michael brings all this experience with a range from the deeply engaging and personal, to energetic and inspirational. A seasoned and rich voice along with training and skills to adjust and excel in any medium. An actor of Michael's unbelievable diversity of credits and wealth of experience is very hard to find. Along with his talents, Michael's personal approach and good rapport with clients and directors alike have made him a steady re-hire on most of his projects.
Michael also offers coaching and taping services after forming The MIchael James Reed Studio back in 2015. His voiceover, on-camera and acting coaching is highly in demand and respected as one of the best you will find anywhere in the midwest market.
