I am quite new to formal voice over work. I do not have any experience that demands pay-for-voice work, but my primary job has tempered my voice to make it well-suited for this work.
I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Journalism. Professionally, I am an accomplished luxury car salesman, which of course requires a very carefully measured and controlled voice and wide vocabulary.
My music background: in middle and high school, I was trained as a concert percussionist and was a part of the high school drumline. My school's band program was high rated and I performed in our top-level concert bands, so I have a reasonably strong formal music education. In addition, I am actively involved in the creation, production, and performance of electronic dance music.
I record on a Shure PG42 microphone with a simple pop filter. I have easy access to a soundproof studio for more detailed jobs.
I have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and service. I have a natural sense of urgency when it comes to work, but I do not allow speed to overtake quality.
