I am just getting started in the voice over industry, and have not yet auditioned for any recording jobs. Two years ago, I retired as an executive with a Federal law enforcement agency, and decided to take training in voice overs, as people often mentioned that my voice and public speaking skills wer clear, professional and commanding. I hope to seek auditions for a variety of narrations (travel, television documentaries) training (in particular, law enforcement, medical, forensic science fields), public service announcements and political commercials. I also tend to enjoy sarcasm and hope to use my skills to support scripts needing a cleverly sarcastic tone.
November 2011-October 2012, Voice Over training, Such A Voice - 32 sessions with VO Coach Steven Wahlberg.
I have experience in giving expert testimony in criminal courtrooms, in lecturing to high school and college students and law enforcement trainees, and in presenting scientific information to audiences with little to no scientific background. I am also able to read and review information quickly and accurately, and am proficient in medical, biological, forensic science, chemical and other scientific jargon and terminology.
