People remember me because of my voice. I realized over the past couple of years that I have a very unique sounding voice because people would always comment and say things like "Is that really the way you talk?!" So I decided I should use my voice to my advantage. I take critique very well and can take direction easily.
I have had one voiceover job thus far in my new career, which was a voiceover for a juggling show presented by Jamie Whoolery (Guinness World Record Holder for Juggling) which was recorded at Clemson University.
I had to be a mother, a punky teenager, and a narrator. It was a wonderful experience and I hope to have plenty more like it!
I have taken numerous voice classes and theater classes over the past 10 years and am always ready for a challenge. I have also attended workshops in New York City and had the privilege of working with John Oliver on my voice over demo where he coached me and gave me feedback for working in the professional world.
I am going to use this space to say that I live in Boston and New Jersey so I have easy access to recording studios in Boston, New Jersey, New York City, and Philadelphia. During the months August through April I also have access to studios in Greenville, South Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia.
I can sing in a mezzo-soprano range-great for jingles.
Loads of theatrical experience.
