I have been in Radio for 5 years, and at the age of 18 was Station Manager, Head of Music and Presenter of the Drivetime show on Cambridge's 87.7 Flava FM - a Student Restricted Service Licence (RSL) in Cambridge, UK, I created the imaging package for the station too. I was a presenter on a nighly call in show on 209radio 103.5FM - a Community Radio Station in Cambridge (and RSL). I was the main voice talent for 209radio, that created the overall image and sound to the station. I am now a presenter on 105FM 209radio, a Community Radio Station in Cambridge - presenting the Friday morning programme 'Feel Good Friday' - between 9am and 12pm.
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Radio Broadcasting. As part of the course I had to study Presentation and Recording Techniques. I worked for one and a half years at local ILR Radio Station in Cambridge, Star Radio (formally Star 107) as a tech-op, which included all manner of responsibilities from editing to playlist merging and importing. I was the main tech-op for the Sunday afternoon Chart Show and the replacement to that - The All Request Afternoon.
Fully trained with Radio Automation Systems such as ENCO DAD. I am fully compitent with editing packages such as Cool Edit (Adobe Auditon) and Digital Performer. I can operate the basic functions of the Music Scheduling Software, RCS Selector (Both Windows and DOS).
