Matt Stern is well known as a South African actor. His career got a serious boost in 2002 when he portrayed the pschyco stalker "Kurt Conradie" in the soap "7de Laan". After that he continued with TV performances in shows such as "Plek van die Vleisvreters", "Hart van Staal", "Begeertes", "Isidingo" and as Craig Mitchell in "Generations". Film work includes "Racing Stripes”(Warner Bros.), "District 9 (Peter Jackson)“, "Hond se Dinges", and as Hendrik Booyens - Mandela's “white” bodyguard - in the highly acclaimed film by Clint Eastwood - “Invictus".
Matt Graduated from Pretoria Technikon in 1996 with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. He featured in Musicals such as: Droomkind, Ons Vir Jou, Jesus die Musiekblyspel, Ester, Tree Aan, Jock of The Bushveld, Cabaret, Into The Woods, and Pippin to name a few.
But few people know that Matt Stern is first and foremost a professional singer. His repertoire ranges from Elvis to Light Classics and even some Opera. Matt's been doing Voice Overs in South Africa since 1996.
