I have worked for 30 years in the health care field, and lecture nationally and internationally. I realized that my public speaking abiity was a gift, and my voice recognizable and easy to listen to. I decided to pursue voice over work approximately 7 years ago. Work thus far has been medical narration , voicemail message systems, ad instructional audio-tapes.
I have narrated medical instructional videos and phone hold messages
I hold a Master's Degree in speech-language pathology, and also performed in some stage productions in college. I completed Susan Berkley's Voice Over Course.
I am a national lecture, providing seminars on medical topics. I have had publications in trade journals, and I am about to release an exercise dvd.
I am professional and a perfectionist. Meaning, I show up on time, and work hard to deliver my best. I think my greatest asset is my extensive public speaking experience, and an ability to engage the listener just with my voice. Additionally, my extensive experience in the medical field enables me to easily read medical copy in a way that is intelligent and meaningful for the listener.
I hasve speant a career working with individuals with disordered speech and voice, so, consequently, I have an abiity to easily characterize or mimic a variety of voices.
