Received Pronounciation "posh", Cockney/Estuary English. Can also do a passable Scottish, Welsh, Generic/South Country, Australian, New Zealand, South African/Afrikaans, European-accented english accents.(French, Dutch, German)

I have been acting in Community theatre for thirty years. I have always been complimented on my voice - even since I was a child. I love to read out loud - my three kids have all had the benefit of my bed-time stories. I sing (Bass) in a church choir. * I have performed on stage many times and one occasional movie "Lear". * I have supplied a character voice for a video game * I have been involved in 'Staged Readings' for several new plays, including a series of 'Lost' Shakespeare plays. I attended the Questors Drama (Acting, Voice, Movement) Program in Ealing, West London. I have several computers - a MacBook Pro is the one I use for voice recording. I have a dedicated recording space where I generally use an MXL Large Diaphragm Microphone with suitable sound-deadening insulation. I tend to use Audacity or Garage Band software. I was a Military child and lived all round the world and in England. My mother was Scottish and my Father was Cockney. This gave me a 'locationess' accent, AKA 'Standard English'. I moved to the US 20 years ago and have developed a smooth transatlantic accent which I use in my daily work, but I tend to snap back to Standard English when I go home.
