I began working in radio in college at both a university station and a local professional station. I worked as a broadcast engineer for ABC radio while attending law school. Many years later I began producing a weekly live broadcast of a worship service on radio. I generate voice overs for the broadcasts and mix the program. I also edit it for the internet.
I had a 3 hour radio talk show in Charleston, SC that lasted for several months until the owner of the station was unable to meet his financial obligations and the station reverted to its previous owner, who changed the format.
I currently have a weekly segment on television discussing in Spanish legal matters affecting small businesses. I also do the voice overs for the program.
I have done voice overs for television and radio commercials. I have also appeared in a local television commercial
I am a lawyer admitted to practice in both Illinois and South Carolina. My legal practice has afforded me the opportunity to speak frequently in public and in court.
In my home I have a Rode broadcast microphone, an Alesis mixer and use Adobe Audition editing software.
Our church broadcast uses AKG, Shure and Countryman microphones. We use an Allen and Heath 32 input mixer. We transmit the signal to the radio station using a Barix internet system. I record the service on flash memory using a Marantz flash recorder. I edit it at home for distribution over the internet.
I am quite active in my practice of law. I spent 30 years representing major corporations before opening my own practice representing small businesses. This has afforded me the opportunity to pursue my second passion, broadcasting. I very much enjoy my current television and radio work and seek to expand my voice over work.
