I have been doing radio voice over work for 23 years and that includes work as a commercial voice over talent and as a music and sports/talk radio host. I have worked in several different radio formats including Top 40, Adult Contemporary, Alternative and Adult Rock.
My training started out in journalism but moved over towards radio. I have been steadily employed in radio since 1988, working in several different areas like Detroit, Albuquerque, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida and have always been able to multitask. I am very up to date on pop culture, politics, sports and music and have a well-rounded knowledge of many different issues. Throughout my radio career I have been voicing commercials for various formats and in various tones, but specialize more in soft sell than in hard, over-the-top sell. I can do characters dramatic and comedic.
I have access to a full radio studio 24/7. I am building my own studio using an SM58 Microphone with a Symetrix 528 Voice Processor and I use Adobe Audition on my home computer as well as at the radio station where I work. I can do audio editing of work that I have not voiced and have access to sound effects and royalty-free music beds.
I am good at multi-tasking and I am used to working in a deadline-heavy environment. I have access to both a home and professional radio studio 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. I am very versatile as far being able to write, voice, produce and edit material.
