Having graduated form Acting school in 1998, I have been working solidly ever since, performing in theatres at home (Royal Lyceum, Traverse), and overseas, working in TV (Garrow's Law, Rivercity) and I have performed in over 200 radio drama productions for the BBC (4 series of Paul Temple, Daniel Deronda, many woman's hour series, short stories and readings). I thoroughly enjoy recording audio books many of which feature on 'Audible' and have experience in recording radio ads, corporate reads, animation, ELT presenting (with auto cue) and computer games. I so enjoy using my voice to create different characters, young and old and am a fluid and very competent sight reader.
Education - Kent College - 9 x GCSE's , 3 x A-levels
BA Acting - Queen Margaret University College - Edinburgh
I have my own studio area in my house with a good quality microphone and recording facilities. If clients choose to listen in, I usually do this through skype then send the rough recording via email.
I am a very fluid sight reader and record around 25 pages per hour if I'm recording an audio book.
I have presenting experience, using auto cue if necessary and again read very fluidly.
