Although my Voice Over career is just getting started, I'm an avid volunteer at Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, narrating all kinds of educational books in many academic areas for sight-impaired readers.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies from Wheaton College. While I don't list Italian as an accent I can perform, (I don't consider myself fluent in Italian) I've loved studying other languages and I think I have facility pronouncing non-English words in many European languages including French, Spanish, and Italian.
I received my Voice Over training and had my Demo produced at Such A Voice in Vermont.
My studio consists of Pro Tools 8 and an MBox2 Mini. My Rode NTG-2 microphone records clear, professional-sounding audio, which I can send via .wav or .mp3 files, or burn to CD and mail.
I've spent many years as a secretary in the Financial Services industry giving me an understanding of most corporate/business and financial terminology. I've also studied Legal Transcription which has given me a greater facility with legal and some medical terminology.
I also have wide interests in many areas including history, music, science, psychology, women's health, animals, and hobbies such as crafting and sewing.
