It's never anyone's goal to be a radio announcer, is it?!?
I worked as a mid-day host in news-talk radio for many years and went from wall flower to extrovert in a matter of weeks. Once I learned that others sold my voice nationally and internationally for big bucks, I decided to venture on my own. That was 9 years ago!
Top names in my portfolio now include Pepsi, Dunkin Donuts, MD and DE Lottery and General Motors.
My passion is working with local radio and television production departments, such as WMDT-TV in Salisbury, MD, to help small town clients sound big city professional.
Graduate of UNCW with a dual degree in Business Marketing and Communications.
Military trained in communication and linguistics.
Well spoken in English, Spanish, French, and Italian. Prefer to use English and Spanish since my accent in each is comfortable to the ears.
I have my own studio and can easily travel to New York or Washington, DC for projects. I use Cool Edit, Cool Edit Pro, and Vegas since all of the radio stations and television studios I work with can easily utilizes files transmitted in this format. The majority of my work is sent via e-mail, exception being one DAT and one CD client located in Canada.
This is not my hobby...it's my passion.
My goal each day is to live fully and enjoy the obvious. When I create a piece of audio that I am certain conveys the exact emotion, mood, and sentiment of my client, it's like taking a bath in chocolate! Ahhhhh, awesome.
