With 30 years in sales, marketing and retail sales, as well as 35 years (mostly in leadership roles) in public service, I have done countless speeches and presentations to conventions, Fortune 50 executives, public seminars that I both wrote and presented, sales and marketing CD's, small groups of consumers, trade shows, etc.
In addition, as a singer I have performed across the United States and in Europe, as well as some musical back-up in a radio ad long-since lost in time. I also have a background of performing in musicals and musical reviews. I must surely be the tallest Poo-Bah that Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta The Mikado has ever seen!
In addition to just being blessed with a wonderful instrument and having done decades of public presentations, I also have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. That sort of work frequently requires the ability to go from soothing, understanding and reassuring to firm and authoritative yet gentle.
No, I no longer do counseling. I've been in the business world for many, many years. But knowing when and how to say what is an extremely valuable tool.
Why not let me show you how my talents can serve your needs?
My background is quite varied.
My interests in History and Science give me an excellent ability to clearly read and enunciate foreign words and names and highly technical terminology.
As a radio announcer (WVKC-FM, Galesburg, IL) I learned how to keep a flow of intelligent conversation going to my audience while "spinning up a disc". My favorite radio work was doing classical music shows.
Finally, I have written copy for numerous print and broacast ads, both for corporate clients and candidates. I also did the voice-over work for a number of those clients.
