Most recently, I worked at KCRW in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara as the Host of NPR's All Things Considered. As such, I've interviewed a range of guests over the last eight years including LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, Musician Katy Perry, Documentary Filmmaker, Ken Burns, Musician Randy Newman, and Actor/Director Olivia Wilde. I've also interviewed experts in several fields including health, education, business, the Covid 19 Pandemic, entertainment, politics, homelessness and housing. I've also had extensive experience as a News Anchor for several radio stations in Los Angeles including talk radio powerhouse, KFI AM 640. I've also voiced radio imaging spots for iTunes and am currently the voice for Pandora's Country Channel, "Backroads". I feel comfortable in any situation whether in-studio or on location as an Announcer or Host where an interview or voice over might be required.
I started out as a reporter/producer doing weird news segments for a syndicated radio talk show. I've also worked as an airborne traffic reporter in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties and voiced several promos for KRLA, KFI and KCRW for everyone from Honda and Big O Tires to La Costa Resort and Spa.
I have a home studio with editing capabilities. I work off a Scarlet digital interface and Shure SM 7B microphone. I can connect remotely to a studio/recording session off-site.
I'm a graduate of University of Oregon in Telecommunications and Film and have taken workshops with Lynanne Zager. I've been a musician for several years and an executive producer on over 500 commercials, music videos, concerts, documentaries, features and fitness projects.
