  I have done a lot of singing in a studio including a Movie musical composed by Bobby Cronin entitled "Seeking Alice" that won Best Musical at the 2017 Manhattan Film Festival. I have a Macbook Pro 13.3" Mid 2017 Laptop with the newest version on Logic Pro. I have a double ended aux chord with a standard microphone and headphone set up.
