Back in 1996 I recorded a small piece for a CD-Rom titled "Living Jazz" (Herbie Hancock) developed by Graphix Zone of which my husband was the producer (Kip Konwiser). In the late 90's I took a character voice-over workshop with Louise Chamis and then life, as has been known to happen, lead me in other directions and now I'm ready to speak up!!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Development from UC Irvine. I attended a performing arts middle school in Los Angeles where my focus was acting and dancing and danced with a small local dance company in Santa Monica, Ca through High School. Beginning in Junior High (about age 12), I performed in several stage performances at Santa Monica College including The Front Page, The King and I, Dune, and received the "Most Meritorious Performance" award as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker at age 14.
Though I have been lead in different directions throughout the years, and have an amazing 13 year old son to show for it, I remain a kid myself living as a grown up. Summing up one's self is like trying to describe a rainbow to someone without sight. Wife, Mother, daughter, writer, poet at heart, creative thinker, photographer, culinary experimentalist, expressionista, martial artist, an artist to my core...
Working on that.
Love a good laugh, or a good cry.
Would love to paint with my voice.
