Sure, I might be seasoned with a heavy dose of experience. But you'd never tell by listening to me. Actually, when in radio many of my bosses referred to me as a "chick magnet" because of my phenomenal ratings among females 18+.
Not to say I didn't appeal to the male demographic. My numbers were likewise strong with men 18+.
I began my VO career in radio in the early '70's for Progressive/Album Oriented stations. Since then, I have performed VO work for television, the Internet, business presentations and radio.
Lastly, I consider myself a master in the production of audio. The proof of that lies in the fact that I won an Edward R. Murrow Regional Award for my work on a documentary in 2005.
My training comes from on-the-job experience in the field of radio hosting, journalism (for both radio and TV), VO work, commercial production and complicated multitrack digital audio editing/mixing.
I come to the table with my own sound-proof studio which includes Adobe Audition CS6, Sony Vegas Pro 12, a pair of AKG C 214 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphones, an AKG Perception 420 Condenser Microphones and numerous other tools to create quality audio.
After working for nearly a decade with Governors, Mayors and Ambassadors, I have a skillset which includes Press Releases and speeches.
Additionally, I am a writer of non-fiction, news articles -- for on-and-offline clients, blog posts for numerous commercial websites and fiction, I can help edit copy to better present a client's brand and message.
