Well, I talk a lot, and I talk about everything, and I talk with everyone, and I've talked in a lot of situations. From business professional, to being the voice of a superior in a voicemail blast, to being the voice of the restaurant's answering machine, I've done it. I've been soothing and calming when working in sales where the primary target was pregnant women, and I've been the fast talker when trying to book appointments for insurance sales. I don't have much experience doing professional voice-over work, however, nearly everyone I come in contact with tells me I have the "perfect voice" for this industry. So listen here, and let me know if my voice speaks to you.
I was in an a cappella group in college, and still do a lot of karaoke to keep my voice up. I have also emceed a number of fundraiser events, introducing acts and coaxing money out of potential donors. My main "training" has been in the phone sales and service arena.
I have friends with full in-house studios, but very limited equipment of my own.
I'm a recruiter, who used to be a bartender who was also in sales, and I have a political science degree. I pretty much was built to talk to people, and have been doing it a long time.
