I grew up on so much TV as a kid, that I've been exposed to countless accents, dialects and voice effects. It was a game when we were young to immitate the crazy voices we heard on TV and radio, and I always played the game well.
Back in the 90's, I hosted my own two-hour mix radio show in college. People told me back then that I had a nice voice for radio. After about 1 year, I went on to pursue other career options. However, people have never stopped telling me how great my voice would sound on TV, film or radio.
I have worked with a few independent video production companies in Baltimore over the years, which afforded me exposure to various aspects of media production, including voice over performances.
In 2001, I began working with the Video Ministry at Life Music Christian Fellowship Church in Baltimore (and I've been head of the Video Ministry there since 2005). We started putting together short vignettes, PSA's and promo pieces for various church events and activities, and since I did most of the edits, mine was often the voice that ended up on many of the finished video projects for intros, announcements, etc.
I completed the Baltimore Cable Access Corporation's video production workshops. I was credited with various production tasks on several independent video projects.
