In August, I will do commentary for a compilation
of videos on religious tolerance which will
be aired on September 11, 2012. Mr Mike
Ghouse, a frequent guest on Fox's
"Hannity", runs the not-for-profit foundation
producing the documentary. I have no
previous voice work to present, but one phone
conversation with me will convince you
my voice is salable.
As a music education major, I had voice and
acting experience. I became a registered nurse
after the Vietnam era but remained
active in singing and other vocal work through
church. I provided in-service presentations to
health care professionals over the years
without putting anyone to sleep.
No studio equipment
I am a voracious reader with strong understanding
of science and history. As an operating room
RN, I have an intimate knowledge of anatomy
and physiology as well as understanding and
anticipating the surgeons needs, whether it be
technical or conversational.
I have worked in a psychiatric setting as well,
which refined the communication skills I learned
in surgery during the Vietnam conflict.
I presented technical training to surgical
technology students on the US Air Force,
Laser safety training in six civilian hospitals
and medical equipment in-services over the last
thirty years.
