I've done radio plays, mostly machinima, and one or two audiobooks. I currently have fourteen finished productions I have participated in. I've voiced high-pitched "Toadette" in a Mario machinima, to a medium pitched "Queen Beryl" in a Sailor Moon fandub, and a low-pitched female radio announcer in another. I've also played the role of a mother, but I'm better at teenage and young adult voices though. :)
So far i've been featured in 23 visual productions and 4 audio productions.
My friends father owns a radio station and is a radio DJ. I've done radio plays for him, and so I guess he had been somewhat of a coach/trainer for me. He's helped with my pitch and consistency. I'm good at putting in emotion. I'm also good with criticism, so I use it to improve.
For professional productions I use my friends recording studio, but I also have a MXL V67G Condenser Cardioid mic I use. If there is any background noise i edit it out. I can also add special effects sometimes.
I can do forms of scriptwriting. I've written some original radio plays and have taken a semester of play writing class. :)
