I started recording on a mic (unofficially) at about age 7. After receiving a portable cassette recorder and mic as a gift, I took that machine everywhere. I felt compelled to record every story around me including narrating the life of our dogs and cats, interviewing friends and family, and recording jam sessions dueting on the piano with my older brothers. For 5 years, I worked at Disney's Animal Kingdom performing onstage and also performing oral book readings to children. Music and performance has been a big part of my life. Activities included choir, jazz band, marching band and dance. I play the following instruments (although not all of them well): alto saxophone piano marimbas oboe I have attended many group and private classes, webinars, and conferences related to voice over education and training. AKG mics, AKG headphones, Audient iD22 audio interface, PreSonus Studio One Producer software, Adobe Audition software, Se Electronics Reflexion Filter Pro, Soundstreak user B.S. Business Administration, major: accounting. I am a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and worked in the accounting field for 15 years. I am very comfortable doing voice projects with business and financial jargon. Also a certified English teacher, Reading Specialist teacher and high school business teacher. In 2009 I created/opened a children's foreign language school (French, Mandarin, Spanish) and Spanish immersion preschool/preK to offer children the opportunity to learn multiple languages and celebrate diversity. We now have three locations.
