I have over 8 years of experience in the voiceover industry and my name can be seen on hundreds of audiobooks. Bachelor's degree in Audio Production with Theater minor, Pro Tools certification, 8 years in the audiobook industry I use an API 312 preamp for crisp vocals, which is then passed into a Presonus vocal channel strip (bypassing its internal preamp and using the API instead for microphone preamplification) for gating, compression, and EQ, which then routes into my Focusrite Saffire Firewire audio interface, and into Pro Tools 10 on my iMac. The audio is then processed further with a couple of other Pro Tools plugins for denoising and further EQ & dynamics control. I also have experience mixing full "radio-drama" style productions which include voiceovers on top of music beds and SFX. I can read & speak most German, and am very technologically literate, making me very suited for reading text that contains too much technobabble for the average narrator to grasp.
