I find myself drawn towards the opportunity to entertain others with the voice given to me. Cartoons have always have had a huge spot in my heart and has driven me to become part of them. My current job lets me to voice over store events on occasion to announce the happenings of the day whether it be to congratulate people with awards or to remind people to fetch their items before leaving. Seeing their smiles when i do my best whether it be with a dark voice or an announcer tone makes me want to smile right back.
I have learned a few things about voice, television, and radio work from a few sources starting in high school. I had taken a Video Production class which made me learn how to make and produce videos, many of which had me do my own voice talent. When i was in the Boy Scouts of America, I had also earned the merit badge of Communications; a badge that was necessary for the Eagle Scout Award. I have also attended a week-long seminar at Western Washington University called Washington Business Week. There, i learned more about business as a whole and how to market and maintain a business.
If anything, cartoons are my #1 skill in any scenario. I am an extremely open person willing to take on ANY work needed no matter how big or small the part or work. I hope to go for a step towards making others laugh and maybe cry at the characters i portray. I look forward to meeting new people and learning new skills , languages, and voices. I can travel anywhere and my schedule is very open to accommodate anyones needs. Whether it be a voice over for a professional or a personal project.
PS: I'm also a good gofer =P
