I've been heard, most notably, speaking on behalf of Atlanta International Airport(Airport Anouncemnents),AT&T(instructional voice -over),Proctor and Gable(TV Voice -over),Philadelphia Power and Gas)On and of Camera, many financial institutions across the country and a variety of comedy based commercials, using a vatiety of character voices.
In the early stages of my career, I was self taught. later,I was fortunate to be instructed by Ted Brown(WNEW) and Big Wilson(NY Radio). raning never stops. Over there years, "in vogue" techniques have changed from the stentorian , big voice to the 'warm and fuzzy" and the successful talent works his instrumental constantly, finding new phrasing, approaches, while maintaining a uniqueness that always says"I know this voice!"
Over the years I've become am a voice actor, rather than an announcer.I tell a story it may be just thrty seconds and even thirty minutes long, but the technique is the same. It sounds totally believable.
