I have been affiliated with the Georgia Radio Reading
Service for nine years, successfully becoming the voice
of many of the most popular best sellers during this time. Being introduced to some of the subscribers to this
wonderful service, and being greeted almost as a "rock star," is as much a tickle as it is satisfying. I will never tire of being asked which character I most enjoyed
"playing," or which story was the easiest/hardest to
bring to the air.
My voice is recognizable to many Atlantans, from being
the greeting and the prompter on a number of phone recordings. I enjoy that work very much.
I am a lector in a large religous congregation, and find that spiritual reading is extremely satisfying.
I have a bachelor of Arts Degree from Marymount College,
now a part of Loyola Marymount, in Los Angeles.
I have participated in workshops at The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. I have a personal voice coach here in
Atlanta.
I have recording capacity in my home, and do successfully deliver mp3's from there, for major
auditions.
For most of my adult life, it seems that I have been
the one asked to be the "spokesperson" for organizations, ideas and projects.
I consider my voice and my delivery a gift which I
thoroughly enjoy sharing
