My work has been almost entirely on broadcast radio and TV. My most recent local clients in the New York area have included car dealerships (Palisades Audi, Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn, BMW Mt. Kisco, Jaguar Larchmont). These aired on WBBR New York. Previously, for 22 years, I narrated documentaries on ABC Radio (where I was employed) and won two Peabody awards for my work. B.A. in Radio-TV-Film, Northwestern University. Studied privately with Alvina Krause, the noted acting coach at Northwestern after her retirement. 30 + years as a correspondent in local radio and network radio / TV. I spent 22 years covering the world for ABC Radio News. Trained with Voice-over coach John Burr in Bethesda, Maryland. My lifetime achievement awards include individual George F. Peabody awards for individual excellence in radio news reporting for lengthy radio documentaries that I wrote, produced and reported. Other awards include Overseas Press Club and National Headliner Awards. My preferred mic. is an AKG C-3000. I also use a Schoeps CMC-6, and Sennheiser ME-80 with Mogami cables. Runs through Mackie 1202 mixer into MacBook Pro. Software includes Audacity, Twisted Wave and Soundsoap. Studio is fitted with ATS acoustic foam panels. I I am a skilled audio editor on Adobe Audition, Audacity, and Twisted Wave. I have a home studio that is available 24/7. I can transfer files via email and accept Paypal. I am a film festival winning filmmaker who understands the importance of placing the correct sound with images and am willing to work to producers to achieve the best effect.
