Depending on the context and material, I have a warm and engaging tone for narrations, hip and happy for commercials, and smooth and insightful for presentations. Although I live in the South, I do not have a southern accent. I pride myself on correct pronunciation and articulation of complex / technical terms. Others have described my voice as husky, lower register, smooth, "Barry White-ish", "Mike Rowe-ish", fatherly, wise sage, authoritative, voice of experience, booming - when I need to get my kids' attention, soft, sensual, guy next door, and "the neighbor grilling out with a cold beer in one hand and a pair of tongs in the other."
