In my 30+ years as a freelance voiceover, I've had the privilage of recording thousands of commercials and narrations for hundreds of ad agency's, independent producers and direct clients. My call-back ratio speaks for itself - several of my current clients have been with me for more than 10 years.
Attending Acting and Improv classes, seminars, etc. is a constant with me. This includes two recent Patric Fraley workshops on dialects and accents.
Over the years I have also accumulated a large library of voiceover and acting books, CD's, DVD's, all of which have in some way enriched my voiceover capabilities.
While I continue to work in many high quality independant audio studios in Wisconsin and Illinois, I do have a well equipped home studio, capable of creating high quality voice tracks.
My setup includes ProTools and other other audio production software, along with a Neumann TLM 103 mic, Summit Audio tube type pre-amp and phone-patch for monitoring sessions.
I do not offer music or sound effect librariries, specialized audio sweetening gear, etc. This is best left to the talented producer/engineers at well-equipped, high end commercial audio studios.
Prior to becomming a full time voice talent, I leveraged my jack-of-all-trades writer, producer and director skills into ownership of a large television production facility. This knowledge and background gives my clients an extra level of confidence that what I do with my voice, will work with their productions.
