My first voice over job was for a television spot with a company called "Music For Picture" in New York City. My relationship with them began as a session banjoist. I have worked for them as a singer and whistler.
The company is now known as "Amano Music".
I recently worked as a voice artist on my first animation short.
I have received formal training as a tap dancer (percussion) and jazz pianist. I also received acting lessons at Columbia University. I’m self-taught on banjo, guitar and harmonica.
I'm a professional illustrator and have a BFA from Parsons School of Design. I have also studied figure painting at The Art Students League. My clients include Macy's, The Daily News, Metro, Newsday, Bloomberg and Ralph Lauren.
I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at age 17 and became a rifleman in an infantry battalion. Much of my experience with imitating various United States accents was nurtured in the Corps.
