I have had no formal jobs in voice-over, but had many years experience in giving professional presentations to large audiences within IBM.
In High School in England I was taught English, French, Latin and Spanish. Since then I taught myself German, Italian and a little Russian (I love languages). I am no longer fluent in the foreign languages, but have retained the ability to read them aloud (except Russian).
I have produced and narrated DVDs for children.
No formal training in voice-over, but a natural voice talent.
My scientific education and experience and voracious reading and continuing education in arts and science make me fluent and knowledgeable in all types of scientific, medical and arts terminology.
I have used personal computers virtually daily since their first introduction and am competent in all manner of applications. In particular, I enjoy making DVDs, creating a flow of music, video and narration in perfect synchronization. This involves a considerable amount of audio and video editing.
I am a skilled amateur photographer--I had a one-man show at the Ulster County Council on the Arts. I create poems for children and, for special occasions, for friends, and record them.
