About John
My voice is always been remarked upon. Well traveled and being of Caribbean and Portuguese descent, my tone is warm, deep, gravitas, versatile, authoritative, reassuring and magnetic.
I am able to pitch a note well; having sung professionally and being able to project vocally with relative ease; having also acted.
I can speak intermediate Spanish and beginner Italian. I feel that I would be strongest at TV or radio commercials, or being used in providing information on up coming programmes or events, or narration.
I can tailor my style to the requirements of most projects. I can present in a convincing North American accent if required also.
My voice level is bass baritone.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI have done voice over work freelance, sometime paid at other times unpaid. I have worked with Tom Jones, Julio Englesias, Joe Longthorne, Michael Barrymore (live on TV), Freddie Starr, the late Leonard Rossiter and many others over the years, and all have remarked on my ability to speak with a disarming charm and with a hypnotic style. I have done some radio in the UK and USA. I have performed voice overs on behalf of Cruise Ship companies, Hotels and Holiday resorts. Also for international business conferences used behind PowerPoint Presentations. I have been trained with the Omnibus Performing Arts Centre. A former jazz singer, vocal quartet vocalist and actor. I don't have a dedicated studio, but do have access to facilities where professional recording can be implemented if required. I am also an accredited Leadership, Personal Development and Communication Coach. Author and writer.
