I studied mass communication at the University of Tennessee. During my time at the school I work as a radio DJ, and recorded some commercials and promos. I've recorded some interviews with musical acts. I also have some experience with podcasting.
Bachelor of Science, Communication from the University of Tennessee
Certificate for Sound Production from Pellissippi State Community College.
3 years experience as an Audio Engineer.
1 year experience as a local radio personality for WUTK 90.3.
Studied under Seva David Ball while at Pellissippi State.
Spent several months as the in-house audio engineer at Morelock Music (venue/studio).
When it comes to audio, I've done a little bit of everything: voiceovers, on-air talent, audio engineer for music and commercials, composer, session player, post-production, and audio for video.
In my home studio I run Apple Logic Studio. For I/O I use a Presonus Firestudio Tube. For voice, I use the equipped tube preamps with analog compression. My go-to vocal mic is a CAD GXL2200. Sometimes I will use a Shure SM7D to get more of an intimate, radio-friendly tone. My mic locker is equipped with moving coil, ribbon and condensor mics and I have both tube and solid-state preamps. I also have access to a studio that runs a full on ProTools HD system, including remote-controlled preamps, A/D converters capable of 192 kHz, the Avid D-Control console, and Genelec 7.1 surround system. If you have any other questions about my equipment, feel free to email me.
I take great pride in my audio work. My client's satisfaction is my primary objection.
