Most of my voicework was done in the field of company presentations and documentaries in Dutch, French, German, English and Spanish. I usually do most of my recordings for a Chinese studio 51peiyin in Beijing.
Another large part of my recordings take place in the educational field. I have recorded many dialogs in American English which are still used today during his classes.

During four months of my stay in China I worked in the tourist business and did the announcements for foreign passengers on a cruiseship on the Yangtze river.
During this two years' time frame (2006 - 2OO8) in Beijing I did over 12O recordings.
I have a bachelor degree of modern languages, Dutch, French, Spanish, German and English. The title I obtained was of Business Interpreter. During three years of my training I had about 12 hours a week of simultaneous interpreting into four modern languages. There already my deep, friendly and authoritative voice was noticed. I also have a pedagogical degree allowing me to teach modern languages. This background turned out to be very interesting for my recordings in the educational field.
I worked for almost 15 years in the touristbusiness where organizing welcomemeetings and offering excellent service to our clients was a toppriority. My job in the tourist business gave me the opportunicty to continuously perfect my language and communicationskills and absorb other cultures.
The studio where I do my recordings works with protools 7 voice editing software and uses Sennheiser microphones and Apple hardware.
Next to voicework I had two appearances in Beijing in movies. One as a priest for an Asian kid's series and another one as a headcoach of an international team of athletes which was shot at the airport in Beijing shortly before the Olympics. The director said I was very charismatic and looked very good on the screen. I am said to have a very expressive face. Although I'm small, one meter seventy, I 'd gladly make visual commercials too. People say I always make a deep impression with my deep voice and looks even though I'm forty now.
My vast experience in the touristbusiness constantly improved my communicationskills, my geographical and historical knowledge and developed my interest into documentarymaking too. I would love to make documentaries about Venezuela or other fascinating countries.
