I have worked in the entertainment industry in various positions - a recording engineers assistant where I helped mix and produce as well as voice over for radio, I've worked in distribution and as a publicist for a record label. I've performed live comedy, spoken word and I sang a Black Sabbath song once to a live audience on my birthday. I am currently being cast as a voice actor for Full Cast Audio doing childrens books as a narrator and a voice actor. I have also been a motivational speaker. This is getting embarrassing. lol
Toastmasters! Private Voice lessons! Natural talent - discovered by the recording studio I worked for initially and then spun off that. I also practiced talking dirty over the phone to a long distance boyfriend? Mostly years of experience in the entertainment industry - recording industry. Music. etc.
I have read literally thousands of books since I was a very young girl. I think this is the single most important thing that has made me so passionate for words. My best voice talent is the gift of bring life to the words/recordings. My voice or reading gives shape to text. The way I read / perform narration, brings the listener the visual and that lifelike element. Ultimately my voice crafts an orgainc feel which helps the production evolve to the level of believable or "real".
