I have over 25 years experience performing for radio and television commercials. As well I've voiced everything from 5 minute fishing features for tv to a nationally syndicated live country radio show (The Road) in Canada.
GSSI's new seismic imaging devices are supported by DVD how-to video that uses my voice exclusively.
You can hear me on the corporate presentations for Richard Ivey School of Busniess at York University and for Microsoft Compliance software. I currently do work voicing internet sites (computer software, insurance...) and on hold messaging (Fairmont Chateau Frontenac-Quebec City...Maritime Tidal Phone, Saint Lawrence College and a host of other small businesses in Quebec and Eastern Ontario). I have also performed on camera in tv commercials and filler programs produced at CKWS TV in Kingston, and for Google Ads for ASAP Cheques.
My voice over experience started in radio.
Graduated from the Broadcasting Program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Graduated from an intense three year program with professional voice and breathing coach David Smuckler in Toronto to expand my abilities.
Extensive work with producer John Howard in Toronto has helped me evolve even further.
Neuman U 87 condenser microphone; Mackie console. Recording is done on a MacBook Pro with Audacity/Garage Band. Booth is professionally-finished, lively, with no outside noise. Computer is Skype and Google Voice-ready, or ready to go with traditional phone-patch.
I'm also a competent and creative script writer. My digital editing and mixing skills are top notch too. My career has led me to being very comfortable in public speaking and one on one converstation situations, and I'm a competent interviewer, and I've been employed to perform on camera for television and video presentations.
