My most notable work has been for a non-profit, education related organization using Articulate software that quickly creates Flash-based presentations and e-learning courses from PowerPoint. This required a smooth, professional, mid-range style. I have also done oral presentations to large and small groups using an engaging, humorous and folksy style. Being a mother and grandmother I have read numerous children's books using appropriate voice characterizations to bring the characters in the book to life. I have an associates degree in business administration. I have worked in government, real estate and non-profit industries. I produced an in-house voice over project using Articulate. The positive feedback gave me the idea that I might be suited for this kind of work. I recently upgraded my computer hardware and software in anticipation of developing a home based business that includes virtual assistance and audio services. In my home studio I have a PC computer with high speed internet service and Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. I have Magix 16 software that allows for voice recording as well as music and sound effects. I use an Audio-Technica cardioid condenser microphone. I have access to a professional studio as needed. I am very dependable and conscientious about the needs of my clients. I work efficiently and diligently to complete projects on time with quality results. While I may not have years of experience specifically doing voice over work I do have years of work experience so I know the value of work, the value of being timely in completing assignments and the value gaining the trust of those with whom I do business.
