My interest in voiceovers has been in the making for over 14 years. A few years ago I started to take it seriously as a possible career.
I received a B. Mus. Ed. from University of Michigan, and have taught music in the public schools. I have owned and operated an event video production company for 17 years, where I learned about voice over talents. I have studied with Toni Silveri in her Voice Actors Workshop of Western New York. I have taken 7 workshops from Pat Fraley. I have worked with several recording studios in the Buffalo and Rochester areas. I currently reside in the Boston, Mass. area.
I currently use my MacBook Pro laptop for my general recordings. I have access to several studios for ISDN and higher end recording needs.
I have a pleasant voice that works well with the microphone. I am comfortable working in front of large groups as well as in the recording booth. I have volunteered reading to the blind at WXXI Reachout Radio, starting in 2004. Since 2005, I have been working as an Audio Describer for the Blind at GEVA Theatre in Rochester, NY performing several shows each year.
