I started teaching myself how to make and produce audio in Cakewalk Home Studio when I was in high school. My education continued as I earned a BS in Voice and Music Production at John Brown University, taking four years of voice training and several semesters of Audio Tech and other related courses. For two years I worked at True Tone Studios, where, among many other tasks, I helped edit and produce professional voiceover demos. I then moved to China, where I gained significant experience in translating and editing copy before voicing it. I have worked as a teacher for the past six years, both online and in the classroom, which has increased my vocal range, flexibility, and versatility.
I am equipped for recording at my sound-insulated home studio or on-the-go field recording with my laptop and mic. I have worked with a number of editing suites, including ProTools, Ableton, Cakewalk, Audacity, and Garage Band.
I'm creative - I focus on getting the details right while also keeping the big picture in mind. Fulfilling a vision, and fulfilling it the right way, are the most important things to me, resulting in quality finished products, whether I'm writing and producing a musical storytelling event; creating and publishing a book; planning and teaching my lessons; or editing copy and recording subway announcements.
