I have been a freelance voiceover artist for coming up on nine years. I've worked with various Indie video game production companies, including a role recently as Poseidon in the acclaimed game Apotheon, and have several more video games lined up. My main bread and butter is not just my naturally deep, growling voice but also my ability to alter my voice to suit different characters. My IMDB keeps a list of some of my more notable works in the area of character, with some that have yet to be added or are currently in production.
I have performed in theatre from high school through midway in college, along with dabbling in film, before I settled into the Radio department. I have a BA in Radio from Columbia College Chicago, with a focus in voiceover. I have taken several voiceover classes beyond my college electives with Pat Fraley and Deb Doetzer, the latter of whom has been a great mentor throughout my college career. Jeff Lupetin, another prestigious Chicago voiceover artist, was also one of my instructors in college and he continues to be a great source of knowledge and advice. The production aspect of the department also gave me some edge, I very much enjoy producing and mixing audio.
My recording space is a 5' x 6' Gold Series vocal booth from vocalbooth.com, which has served me very well. Included in the rest of my equipment within the studio are:
-iMac desktop computer
-Neumann U87 Ai microphone
-Apollo Twin audio interface
-Yamaha HS7 studio monitors
I use Adobe Audition to record and produce my voice tracks.
