Jason Bryant has spent over ten years in commercial radio in Canada. He's interviewed some of the biggest names in music, from Alanis Morissette and Nickelback to Christina Aguilera, NSYNC, Gene Simmons of Kiss, Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty and Green Day.
Jason is the image voice for SCN, The Saskatchewan Communications Network.
He has worked as a stand-in and photo double on “Surveillance”, “Finn On The Fly”, “Sabbatical”, “45 RPM” and “Walled In” with Mischa Barton.
Jason was also a stand-in and photo double for Nick Stahl on the feature film “Sleepwalking” with Charlize Theron, AnnaSofia Robb, Dennis Hopper and Woody Harrelson.
He has trained with Vancouver Casting Directors Sean Milliken and Corinne Clark. Additionally; Neil Schell (Vancouver), The Vancouver Youth Theatre and Wendy Anderson (Regina). Jason is represented by The Edge.
Voice credits include commercials, TV series, Movies of the Week and Feature Films. Jason co-hosted the national technology series "Web Watch" on Canadian Learning Television.
Jason can be seen as social worker Mr. Richardson in Season II of "Moccasin Flats" on APTN and on Showcase. Jason can also be seen in "Just Friends" directed by Roger Kumble and starring Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart, Anna Faris, Chris Klein & Chris Marquette which was released by New Line Cinema. Jason is a part of the fictional town of Dog River in the hit series Corner Gas on CTV.
Jason has hosted some of the biggest concerts and events in the Canada including Edgefest 98/99, Summersault 2000, The Tragically Hip (Phantom Power Tour 1998), Phsycoblast 2001 with Christina Aguilera and the 2000 Brier in Saskatoon, SK. For voice work, Jason has access to an ISDN line and a professional studio that can deliver in a wide variety of audio formats.
Jason’s radio work continues online with a music podcast on the Mevio network called jRock with Jason Bryant. Jason’s shows have been downloaded thousands of times to an audience around the world.
